The words an airport room booking runs on

• Outcall

  Outcall means the therapist travels to the room where you are staying, here usually an airport hotel room, since the house keeps no premises of its own.

• Overnight

  An overnight is a single booking of eight hours with a therapist, from EUR 1,250 for one guest, and it fits naturally into a night before an early flight.

• Arrival window

  The arrival window is the forty to sixty minutes between a confirmed booking and a knock in central Amsterdam; airport rooms run on an agreed journey time.

• Deposit

  The deposit is half the fee, paid before she sets out. Every airport-hotel booking carries one, as do first bookings and most bookings made a day ahead.

• Balance on arrival

  The balance is the second half of the fee, paid when she arrives at the room. Cash is welcome, in euro or in another major currency confirmed in writing.

• Cancellation and refunds

  What is kept when a booking is cancelled depends only on the notice given: all of the deposit returns with a day to spare, and less as the hour nears.

• False bookings

  A false booking is one made under someone else's name or number, or sent as a joke. A missed appointment on its own is simply a late cancellation.

• Twenty-one or over

• Day room

  A day room is an airport hotel room let for a block of hours during the day. A session fits inside one when the hours and the journey time are agreed ahead.
